Sarah Engen (she/her) is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Diplomat of Acupuncture, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Board Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She earned her Master’s of Acupuncture in 2019 and Doctorate of Chinese Medicine in 2021 at Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington, MN. Prior to graduate studies, Sarah attended the University of Wisconsin – River Falls where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts.

Sarah is a dual-licensed, Nationally Certified acupuncturist certified with the NCCAOM, licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, the State of Wisconsin, and also a Board Certified Bodywork Therapist with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). She has massage licenses in the states of Wisconsin, Colorado, and Arkansas.

Her acupuncture experience includes treating patients at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, and at NWHSU’s Human Performance center with Sports Acupuncture. Sarah’s spa, bodywork, and esthetician training extends over 18 years of practice with 2000+ hours of bodywork training from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis, Juut Salonspa, and Devanadi School of Yoga & Wellness.

Sarah’s passion has always been within the realm of sports. Over the past 10 years, she previously spent her time traveling as support staff for professional cycling teams. She now continues to practice acupuncture by providing care in private and community clinic setting in downtown Hudson, Wisconsin. She enjoys spending her weekends riding bikes and relaxing with her partner Bjorn and son, Kolbjorn. She is an amateur racer, coach and volunteer with Minnesota Junior Cycling.
